Happy New Year!
It's officially 2022, and we're kicking off the new year with a big announcement, an incredible new install, and an exciting upcoming event! Keep reading to learn more.
NEW TEAM MEMBER!
I am so happy to welcome Lisa Belcher to the Harrison Workplace Furnishings team. She will be replacing Shannon Speakman who has decided to focus on and grow her nutrition business. I can’t thank Shannon enough for her amazing contributions to the team these past years and wish her all the best in her ventures! In typical Shannon fashion, when she came to me about her change in focus, she suggested her replacement at the same time. I already knew Lisa from her work in our industry, so it was an easy transition.

Lisa comes to HWF with a background in medical and dental sales as well as contract furniture. Lisa and her husband, Chad, have an adorable son, Christian, who turns one this month! Sake (like the Japanese wine), their 4-year-old silver lab rounds out their family. I am so happy to have her onboard!

THANK YOU!
In last month’s issue of The Spin, I changed up my usual giveaway (for those who read to the end) and asked my readers what charities they support, pledging to choose one to make a donation. ⠀

As your emails came in and you told me about your favorite charities and why you support them, I was blown away and simply couldn’t pick just one. Instead, I am going to donate to all of them over the course of 2022. Each month, I will make a donation to one of the charities you shared with me.
This month, I am sending a donation to United Ability, sent to me by Molly Duncan. In Molly’s words:⠀

“United Ability is my choice for a charity giveaway. They provide innovative services connecting people with disabilities to their communities and empowering individuals to live full and meaningful lives. They have so many programs under their umbrella including a very inclusive early learning center called Hand In Hand—where my kids go! The amount of love and giving within this organization is insane and seeing how much all of the employees care for their students and patients is amazing to see.”⠀

Thanks, Molly, for sharing this amazing organization. And thank you all for your emails and for reading The Spin!
GIVEAWAY!
I'm giving away a Nutrition Consultation w/ Shannon Speakman to one lucky winner!

As a Health Coach, Shannon helps clients shift behavior toward healthier habits and develop sustainable lifestyle changes. She understands that being “healthy” is dependent on many essential forms of nourishment. Knowing what to eat is as important as feeding our hunger for play, love, success, and adventurous spirit.
